Porsche Panamera Turbo S by edo competition

Saturday, September 29, 2012

edo competition is following up their earlier Porsche Panamera creations, Moby Dick and Hellboy, with another package but this time for the Panamera Turbo S variant. Opting not to give this range topping model a cheeky name, edo's Panamera Turbo S is mainly defined by its power package which gives an additional 150 HP (110 kW) and 130 Nm (96 lb-ft) of torque for a total of 700 HP (515 kW) and 880 Nm (649 lb-ft). The production Turbo S produces 550 HP (405 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft). But we're left wondering if this is merely a preliminary upgrade which leaves room for the future. If you'll recall, edo's Moby Dick which was just a Panamera Turbo produced 750 HP (552 kW) from its standard 500 HP (368 kW) - 250 HP (184 kW) more than stock. Regardless, edo tells us modifications include new exhaust manifolds and turbochargers, high-flow catalytic converters and air filters as well as a stainless steel high-performance exhaust system with butterfly valves. The engine management system was re-programmed for optimization of the new hardware. The edo Turbo S sprints from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.5 seconds, compared the 3.8 seconds for the standard car, and hits 200 km/h (124 mph) in just 11.4 seconds, as opposed to 13.5 seconds. The top speed of the edo Turbo S stands at 340 km/h (211 mph) which is amazingly electronically limited. edo also adds a lowering module which adjusts the vehicle's ground height by up to 30mm and 22-inch carbon-fiber-look racing wheels.

Hamann Cyrano Porsche Panamera

Friday, November 25, 2011

German tuner Hamann has revamped the Porsche Panamera and calls it the Hamann Cyrano.
The Cyrano reference stems from the German tuner's complete revision of the front end of the Panamera. Larger air intakes and daytime running lights are added to the front fascia and there's a redesigned bonnet too. The Panamera also gets widened by 60 mm at the front and rear fenders and side skirts and rear diffuser are part of the kit as well.
Hamann then adds large 22-inch wheels and lowers the suspension by 30 mm.
For the Porsche Panamera Turbo, Hamann is promising a future performance tuning that ups horsepower by 80 PS (59 kW / 80 hp) and torque by 120 Nm (88.5 lb-ft).
Hamann also offers individualized interior finishes using the finest leathers and Alcantara.

Porsche Panamera S Hellboy by Edo Competition

German tuner Edo Competition has a package for the Porsche Panamera S called Hellboy.

The extra output is good for a new 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint time of 4.6 seconds and a top speed of 308 km/h (191 mph).

The aerodynamic kit includes a carbon fiber front skirt with integrated daytime running lights and large air intakes, front lip, side skirts, carbon fiber rear skirt, rear diffuser, fins and a ducktail rear spoiler. Also new are the side mirrors and fender vents.

For the suspension there's a lowering module that brings the Panamera 30 mm closer to the pavement and wheels are the 9.5 x 21-inch rims with 265/35/ZR21 tires for the front and 11 x 21-inch rims wrapped in 305/30/ZR21 tires for the rear axle.
