The Honda C-100, a small-engine motorcycle, was introduced in 1953 and by 1959 was the largest-selling motorcycle in the world. In 1959 the company established a U.S. subsidiary. The company's sales now come largely from automobiles, which it began manufacturing in 1963. Especially known for lightweight, fuel-efficient passenger cars such as the Civic and Accord, it is today one of the largest automobile companies in the world. Its headquarters are in Tokyo.
Usually people who try to get into the import tuning scene after watching the fast and the furious a few too many times. Not necessarily anyone who goes and buys a bodykit, because a few of those actually do decrease drag, increase cooling, etc., like veilside and stuff, just crappy ripoffs that dont do a damn thing except maybe increase downforce, but if you have a FWD car, a spoiler is just gonna make you go slower. Also, if you have any idea how cars work, you'd realize that there really is no point in making a car look fast if it cant go fast, and if you dont understand how cars work, or dont care, you have no business even pretending to be a part of the tuner scene.
Billy and Bobby both have 6000 to spend on their car. Billy invests it in suspension and engine work, and Bobby buys a "sick" body kit, and some "tight" rims. So, Billy has a fast car that will surprise anyone wanting to race it, and bobby is hitching a ride back home, because his "sick" body kit blocked all air to the engine.

I am not sure whether this Honda Insight bodykit is aftermarket bodykit or customized bodykit, but what I want to say is the Honda Insight looks so ugly without the bodykit, it looks nice and sporty after bodykit modification. It Got some the feels of Honda CR-Z.

Honda Civic Si for SEMA by Fox Marketing

If you haven't guessed by now, the automotive aftermarket super show SEMA is nearly upon us, and tuner vehicles are sprouting up everywhere. So, next on the list is a 2012 Honda Civic Si by Fox Marketing.
Although the Civic has lost over the years much of the tuning thunder it once had, Fox Marketing wants to prove otherwise. The concept is simple yet potent: install big turbo kit from Honda's LMP1/LMP2 IndyCar engine, custom body kit, 20-inch wheels, BASF R-M Ultrasonic Blue Pearl paint job and then top it all off with a long list of contributing sponsors for validation.
The result is a new Civic Si putting out 450 hp (335 kW / 456 PS) which Fox Marketing asserts is good for "100,000+ reliable miles without blinking an eye."

Fox Marketing Cars 2012 Honda Civic Si
The main focus of this build was to showcase the reliability, and performance capability from Honda's new K24Z7 power plant. With a properly engineered turbo kit the new Civic Si can consistently provide an enthusiast with over 450 horsepower for 100,000+ reliable miles without blinking an eye. Because the K24Z7 is so strong from the factory, we added a new Full-Race intercooled turbo kit. This turbo kit features the BorgWarner EFR turbo as seen in Honda's LMP1/LMP2 engine program, and 2012 Indycar teams. To properly and accurately tune the vehicle, Hondata FlashPro was selected to control Injector Dynamic 1000cc fuel injectors and the 255lph fuel pump, all made possible with the Chasebays Engine Harness. For additional power and durability, the stock plastic K24Z7 intake manifold was replaced with a Honda RRC intake manifold (euro Accord Type-R) sourced from ImportDPS. Since the car has these types of power numbers we need serious traction - so a 10.5 inch wide Vossen wheel with Toyo Tire will put the power to the ground. We then hand-built the widebody kit around the wheel and tire set up, and painted the civic BASF R-M Ultrasonic Blue Pearl, a new-school take on the classic Civic Si electron-blue-pearl. The interior was upgraded with Yonaka Ronin Racing Seats with factory Civic Si fabric inserts front, and rear. Honda CR-Z MUGEN RR concept new details

Originally unveiled at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the car features an aggressive M-TEC body kit with a carbon fiber hood, doors and tailgate. Other highlights include a dual exhaust system, a sport-tuned suspension and 18-inch alloy wheels which are stopped by four-piston monobloc brake calipers.

Inside, the cabin is outfitted with leather/Alcantara sport seats, carbon fiber trim and an infotainment system with GPS navigation and a data logger.

Honda still refrained from mentioning what powers the concept, but the other CR-Z Mugen has a supercharged 1.5-liter engine which is paired to an IMA hybrid system. Boasting a combined output of 200 PS (147 kW / 197 hp) and 181 lb-ft (245 Nm) of torque, the car accelerates from 0-60 mph in approximately 6.6 seconds.

Honda CR-Z MUGEN RR Concept

Honda has surprised crowds at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this past weekend with a another CR-Z Concept. Following the MUGEN CR-Z Concept design study model, this second model designated "RR" represents a more race focused version.

The MUGEN CR-Z Concept RR features an exclusive body kit including a front aero bumper, front aero fenders, side spoilers, rear aero bumper, rear wing and specially developed 18-inch wheels.

Mugen makes no mention of performance specs, but we already know the MUGEN CR-Z design concept features a supercharged 1.5-liter engine and an IMA hybrid system good for 200 PS (147 kW / 197 hp) and 181 lb-ft (245 Nm) of torque. Acceleration from 0-60 mph (96 km/h) comes in at roughly 6.6 seconds.

Honda Crosstour 2012 Drops Accord Nameplate

Say goodbye to the 2010/2011MY Accord Crosstour and hello to the 2012MY Crosstour as Honda decided to drop the Accord moniker from the name of its high-riding liftback for the new model year.

The name may be different but there aren't any significant changes besides some additional standard features and new color options over the previous model year version.
The Crosstour continues to be available in two trim levels, the base EX and the better-equipped EX-L.
For 2012, the EX gains auto on/off headlights, a rearview camera, Bluetooth HandsFreeLink and USB audio interface as standard, while Honda also introduced two new colors to the range, theTwilight Blue Metallic that replaces the Glacier Blue Metallic, and Basque Red Pearl that replaces the Tango Red Pearl.
Despite earlier rumors stating the availability of a more affordable four-cylinder model, for now at least, the Crosstour will continue to be offered only with a 3.5-liter i-VTEC V6 producing 271 horsepower at 6,200 RPM and 254 lb-ft. of torque at 5,000 RPM.
According to the Japanese company, the front-wheel drive Crosstour returns an EPA-rated city/highway/combined fuel economy of 18/27/21 mpg, while the EX-L with Honda's Real Time 4WD system, 18/26/21 mpg respectively.
Prices for the 2012 Crosstour start from $30,340 not including an $810 destination fee.
